Builderall review – website builder and digital marketing in one

To make your digital marketing work, you’re probably building a system made up of many moving parts. You’ll want an online presence, a solid email marketing tool so that you can keep in touch with your audience. To help you generate leads and drive sales, you’re looking at a sales funnel that also would be scalable and automated.

If you’re already running a business online, it’s highly likely you’re already using a plethora of services and tools so that you’re switching between tabs. Subscribing to so many services comes at a cost. To help you streamline your activities as well as help you save costs, all-in-one services have popped up.

A representative of this breed of all-in-one services is Builderall. It’s like a Swiss army knife for your digital marketing activities. It calls itself the most complete digital marketing platform with which you can

  • Build your website including blog
  • Run your online store
  • Set up sale funnels
  • Launch an app
  • Send email campaigns
  • Keep an eye on the stats

You can do all of these tasks under one roof – figuratively spoken. Since its launch in 2011, Builderall has undergone several updates getting more features.

Pros and cons of Builderall

Builderall is a hosted tool. This means, everything is taken care of for you, you don’t need to install anything or worry about maintenance and security. It comes with over 30 features – if you can imagine your perfect funnel, you can build it.

Pros

  • No coding skills required to build your website or landing pages with the drag-and-drop builder
  • Solid blogging tool
  • Built-in CRM
  • Reasonable pricing considering all the features

Cons

  • No forever free plan
  • When you sign up, you need to enter your credit card details
  • Not for complex websites (it’s better to work with a developer)
  • It has a learning curve
  • Each tool opens a new tab so that you still need to jump between all the open tools

Who is Builderall for?

Builderall is like a Swiss Army knife for small business owners, entrepreneurs, digital marketers, consultants among others. You get to build your website, sales funnels, landing pages, and more. This is of course only when you’re looking to build your entire online business with a single service.

It’s also a good place to start for anyone beginning their journey in marketing or online business and so want an easy-to-use tool where they don’t need to have design or coding skills. It’ll help you launch and grow your venture.

How easy is Builderall to use?

When you first log in, you’re taken to your dashboard. You can quickly start a new project such as create a website or webinar with the quick access in “Start a project” or access your tools.

Dashboard with quick access

The tools are the same that you find in the top navigation under the tab Apps. In the navigation, the tools are grouped in 5 sections

  • Builders
  • Email and engagement
  • Design and video
  • Others (sales and after-sales)
  • Domain

It really does its claim honour and is the most comprehensive, that has the most tools all gathered in one place. But that can also make the start a bit overwhelming. Although you can click on the Learn More link to familiarise yourself with it.

You’ll find everything you need in Cheetah Website Builder to build a website, landing pages, and funnels using its drag-and-drop editor. With this builder, you don’t need design or programming skills and can create mobile-ready pages and sites.

The first time you open Cheetah Website Builder, a short onboarding guide will show you around. The drag-and-drop editor is easy to use, particularly if you’re coming from another builder.

Builderall design and templates

Cheetah Website Builder comes with a ton of templates that you can choose and then customise to your liking. The templates are all mobile-ready and sorted into industries, niche products, or business types.

Searchable template gallery

You can also create a smart template using tags. The tags are like a placeholder will tell Cheetah Website Builder to replace the tag with any info you saved for that tag. This is an even quicker way to create a page because you don’t need to go into the drag-and-drop editor to write your copy.

How to manage your ecommerce store in Builderall?

Builderall’s ecommerce engine is Super Checkout. You can create as many products as you want. The ecommerce engine behaves and looks like your run-of-the-mill shopping cart tool.

Builderall’s built-in shopping cart

If you prefer Wooocommerce, you can also set up our store with Builderall’s Woocommerce ecommerce engine If you want to know more about how it is to use Woocommerce read the review here.

Builderall integrations

If you don’t find what you need in the 30+ tools, you can connect your account with Zapier and get all of its automations and integrations.

What marketing and SEO tools does Builderall have?

In the section email and engagement, you’ll get a slew of apps to reach out to and keep in touch with your audience.

SEO

For SEO, you need to edit the meta tags with Cheetah Website Builder within the page settings.

Blogging

Builderall recognises that blogging is an important tool in your marketing toolbox. Hence, it gives you a well-rounded blogging tool. You can set categories, have a team of authors, and schedule your posts.

List management, segmentation, and personalisation (CRM)

As an all-in-one solution, Builderall comes with email marketing and built-in CRM. The contact management tool deserves to be called CRM. It allows you to score your leads and works tightly together with MailingBoss, the email marketing tool so that you can set up workflows to automatically tag a contact or send an email.

Payment options

You can accept payments with the leading payment gateways such as Paypal and Stripe. There are also Braintree, Mollie, Safe2pay among others. Builderall doesn’t charge a transaction fee.

Builderall security

All projects, sites, and pages are secured with an SSL certificate.

Builderall customer support

If you get stuck and want to get help you can query its searchable knowledge base. If you’re working on a project, you can contact support via the chat button in the lower right-hand corner of the dashboard. But, the full support and help desk is only available if you’ve subscribed to the premium or funnel club plan.

Builderall pricing

Builderall has 4 paid plans. Unfortunately, you can’t try before you buy. The entry-level plan is $14.90 per month and it gives you access to everything you need to build your first funnel. Also, if you look at the prices of the plans and all the features that are offered, the pricing is reasonable.

Is Builderall the right tool for you?

Builderall gives a whole suite of tools for you to launch and grow your business venture. But as a whole, it feels more like Jack of all trades and master of none. The tools provided will get you going and they do the job – but only good enough. It could help you save expenses since you don’t need to cobble together a system of moving parts.

Further, you should theoretically be able to do everything just in a single interface. But each time you open a tool or want to edit a page, a new tab opens. This means you’ll be still switching from tab to tab. In the end, you have a lot of tabs open and have lost track of where the tab for MailingBoss is (for example).

If this review has helped you, I’d be hugely grateful if you could share it on social media.
